Senior Content Strategist (Owned Channels) – Leading Integrated Agency – £70k - £95k DOE – Central London / Hybrid
One of London’s most-awarded creative agencies is looking for a can-do, client-facing Senior Content Strategist with integrated experience.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with at least eight years’ content planning experience to oversee and manage owned channels for a huge name in retail.
In this hybrid role you will spend two days per week in the agency’s London offices and one day a week at the client’s HQ in Manchester.

This celebrated agency has a rare opening for a Senior Content Strategist on one of its flagship retail accounts.
The team has already produced some mouthwatering integrated creative – and record-breaking results – for this household name.
Now they need a content planning mastermind to deploy the brand’s new social strategy by executing owned content strategy day to day, week to week and month to month.
Channels include their organic social, website and app content, with a view to CRM and in-store too.
The ideal candidate…
- is on the pulse, has a creative flair, stays on top of updates and trends, understands the wider marketing mix, and also gets the numbers
- has a dynamic approach to planning, a keen understanding of how to communicate via owned content channels, and knows how brands can show up in non-traditional ways
- is passionate about populating culture, identifying proactive and inspiring ways to make brands relevant
- has the confidence and tact to collaborate with and challenge agency specialist partners, media partners and senior stakeholders both internally and on the client-side
The essentials
- At least eight years’ experience in a content / content planning role
- Confidence in presenting and a willingness to pitch
- An appreciation of the Hero, Hub and Hygiene approach to content planning
- A collaborative, cross-functional approach to working with creatives, web content managers, social media managers, SEO specialists and account managers to ensure seamless content production and distribution
- Performance monitoring and analysis
Work from home policy
Three fixed days in the office each week – two in London and one in Manchester.
Salary and benefits
£70k – 95k depending on experience, with an award-winning agency culture and a range of fabulous hard and soft benefits.
