The agency
Based in Central London, this 50-strong creative agency is on a major upward trajectory.
They work with some of the world’s best-known consumer and entertainment brands to deliver groundbreaking creative executions across social media, streaming platforms, the Metaverse, OOH and IRL.
Now they are looking for an ambitious, experienced Midweight Creative Strategist with a knack for integrating entertainment partnerships into brand strategies that elevate consumer engagement.
The Midweight Creative Strategist role
Are you passionate about creating campaigns that resonate with consumers and drive impact at retail?
Working into the agency’s Chief Marketing Officer, this role focuses on consumer brands and retail activations, creating unique campaigns powered by fan insights. This innovative shop leverages entertainment partnerships, including film and gaming IP, to craft compelling stories and brand experiences that engage consumers at the point of purchase and beyond.
This isn’t a role for someone who just sets direction; the agency is looking for a doer who can lead creative projects end-to-end, turning insights into innovative ideas. You should be as comfortable brainstorming new ways to captivate a fanbase as you are presenting a polished pitch to a brand manager or retailer.
From ideation to execution, you’ll help brands forge partnerships that drive retail impact while capturing the hearts and minds of consumers.
Key responsibilities
- Leading creative strategy for consumer brand campaigns and retail activations, with a focus on entertainment partnerships and seasonal activations
- Distilling consumer insights into actionable strategies that connect retail, media and experiential activations
- Leveraging film, TV and gaming IP to create brand partnerships that drive engagement and sales across key retail channels
- Presenting strategic recommendations to clients, guiding them from insight to activation, and crafting solutions that resonate with both consumers and retailers
- Depending on experience, line management responsibility for one or two strategists working primarily on social projects for entertainment clients
The essentials
- A strong focus on retail activations
- Experience developing campaigns that integrate entertainment IP into consumer marketing strategies
- Proven track record of working with FMCG brands, building partnerships that impact consumer purchasing decisions
- Ability to take insights and transform them into creative ideas that engage consumers across multiple touchpoints, including in-store, online and via social channels
- Strong presentation skills
