Senior Account Manager – Outstanding London Agency – To £40k
Central London destination agency seeks talented Senior Account Manager for its largest and most high-profile account.
The agency
This multi-award-winning agency is one of the UK's leaders in customer engagement marketing. Its London arms is the largest in a worldwide network of 67 agencies and, despite being able to draw on an enviable pool of talent, has the friendly feel and attitude of a smaller shop. Regularly named as one of Campaign's best places to work, this agency really cares about its people.
The account
The account has a 45-strong team and will probably be the most multi-faceted and strategic you’ll ever work on.
Firstly, you’ll be communicating with every household in the UK across multiple channels. Secondly, you’ll be working with and learning from some of the most talented people in the industry, both within the agency and outside with experts in data, research and behavioural sciences.
The Senior Account Manager role
Your aim will be to engage customers around key points / events, delivering new customer journeys and collateral.
This is a unique opportunity, not only to deliver a very high-profile campaign, but also to build incredibly broad skills. You’ll be involved across the whole business, not just the marketing team, including exposure to senior stakeholders.
As this is a unique project, the role is a hybrid between client service and project management – so an interest in both would be advantageous.
Deliverables will be primarily printed communications (direct mail, leaflets) and web copy updates, so your delivery skills must be exceptional. You will need to keep a level head in a high-pressure environment, ensuring delivery is on brief and on time.
Data is key to everything the agency does, therefore a keen interest in data-driven campaigns is essential.
The ideal candidate
- Experience delivering campaigns with complex data systems – data matrices, data briefs and annotations
- Good communication and literacy skills – proficient in PowerPoint, with solid presentation skills
- Methodical and organised – able to prioritise effectively and think on your feet under pressure
- A passion for process
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude, at ease building relationships internally and externally
Salary and benefits
The role is a 12 month fixed term contract but its very likely to extend beyond that.
Salary is to £40k plus great benefits including 25 days’ holiday.
This is a very rare role at one of London’s finest, award-winning agencies. Senior Account Managers with solid data and direct marketing experience, please get in touch now.
