Freelance Digital Media Manager – Integrated Comms Agency – Remote – To £250 per day
Are you an independent self-starter with a good understanding of all media channels? This integrated communications agency is looking for a freelance or contract Digital Media Manager as soon as possible. Fully remote and freelance or fixed-term contract until Christmas.

A friendly, passionate bunch who love all things digital, this integrated communications group works across advertising, digital, 3D spaces, media, direct response, training and PR.
The team is a highly experienced blend of media and communications planners, strategists and channel specialists responsible for media trading. They cover all channels on and off line; digital, digital media, programmatic, paid search and SEO, out of home, radio, cinema and TV as well as creative media solutions and partnerships.
Working with travel, education, FMCG and pharma clients, they act as a ‘full service’ agency as well as a media-only business.
The Digital Media Manager role
- Assist in the delivery of media campaigns for the agency’s B2B media clients. Day-to-day campaign management and relationship building with all internal and external stakeholders
- Develop understanding of client business, products, markets, audiences and objectives
- Understand, interrogate and assimilate media briefs
- Build and implement media plans as appropriate
- Work with all internal departments to produce integrated comms plans which meet and exceed client expectations
- Work with specialist teams, partner agencies and directly with media owners across all channels to plan and buy media activity for your clients, both in the UK and internationally
- Learn to assess the value of different media opportunities in the context of the client’s business and ensure client receives most competitive media rates available through negotiation with media owners
- Research innovative media opportunities to be presented to clients as part of scheduled and ad hoc planning processes
- Pull together media reports and documents (eg competitive, post campaign analysis) and interpret data to provide useful insights
- Manage billing for assigned clients, identify and resolve billing discrepancies as needed
- Support in the delivery of new business tenders and pitches
You
- Experience in delivering marketing activity either within an agency or client-side business
- A fast learner with a confident and positive attitude
- An organised self-starter able to work to deadlines
- A basic understanding of all media channels
- Ability to negotiate and buy media cost-effectively
- Some experience in presenting with strong communication and numerical skills
Salary / remuneration
To £250 per day on a freelance basis or fixed-term contract, starting ASAP until Christmas.
