We are looking for a Junior Copywriter with at least a year’s experience in a professional writing role, ideally with a marketing dimension to it, to join a fantastic B2B agency in Marlow with a focus on the technology sector. You'll be writing a variety of copy forms for some of the biggest tech brands in the world and an interest in the sector would be a big plus. Ideally you'll have gained your experience in an agency environment or at a technology client but a journalistic background is fine provided you have a working knowledge of the principles of marketing. Direct marketing experience would be a great advantage as would a knowledge of Search Engine Optimization.


Your job will be to write copy that helps clients sell their products and services. This will include long copy for brochures and white papers; punchier copy for press releases and feature articles; content for digital channels, including blogs, websites and social media; direct mail packs; marketing automation campaigns; advertising copy; tweets; speeches; film scripts; the list is varied and constantly changing. It also includes working on concepts for pitches and new campaigns.

You'll be mentored by the Head of Copy but will also work closely with the Planning, Creative and Client Services teams. You’ll help with defining briefs, advise on tone of voice and help to ensure the copy delivers what the client wants and can be delivered correctly in any visual format.


As with any copywriting role you'll need to demonstrate great attention to detail and an understanding of why clarity and effective use of language are important and it is expected that you'll be very familiar with Microsoft Word and the Microsoft Office suite. As an individual you should be interested in the world at large; always in touch with current affairs and general business news as well as technology and business-to-business marketing. And you’re an avid reader. What we’re after is that relentless curiosity about absolutely anything that is the hallmark of a great copywriter.
