Account Manager / Senior Account Manager (Social Media) – Central London Agency – To £45k

Fast-growing integrated agency with roots in PR seeks talented, social-media skilled Account Manager or Senior Account Manager for its flourishing social media arm.

You could be an existing Senior Account Manager or an Account Manager who is looking to step up to SAM level.

Your experience must be ‘social first’ and you’ll need a really strong understanding of the social media marketing mix. You will be comfortable being involved in social strategy - ideally as a leader and a creative thinker. Influencer experience is essential too as it’s a big part of the work they do.

The agency

While the agency’s roots are in PR, they are developing into an integrated comms agency with an increasing emphasis on social media. They have just brought in a new MD to drive that transition.

This 18-person agency is growing fast and moving to new offices in Little Portland Street having outgrown their office on Oxford St. They expect to be 30 strong by the end of 2022.

The founder is a warm, inspiring, gregarious leader who has created a lovely culture within the agency. Personality and energy are important to her and everyone is treated equally. Clients and talent come through the door because of her and it makes working at the agency exciting and fun.

The agency only works with brands that are trailblazers in their space – you will work on a really interesting mix of consumer work and B2B.

The Social Media AM / SAM role

You could be an existing Senior Account Manager or an Account Manager who is looking to step up to SAM level.

As number two to an Account Director, you will be supported by an Account Manager and an Account Executive.

You will be joining an agency with no glass ceiling - there are no limits to how far you can develop and grow.

You

  • As you will be working on a heady mix of consumer and B2B clients you will need to work well balancing the more light-hearted with the more serious
  • You have a positive upbeat personality and are ambitious and curious
  • Your experience should be ‘social first’ and you have a really strong understanding of the social media marketing mix. You will be comfortable being involved in social strategy - ideally as a leader and a creative thinker
  • Influencer experience is essential - it’s a big part of the work they do
  • You may currently be working at a leading social content / influencer agency. As the agency’s work is a mix of consumer and B2B, you may be looking to grow your B2C experience whilst bringing your B2B experience to the table
  • Finally, you offer stellar client service and project management skills!

The clients

Refreshingly, the agency will tailor your clients depending on your experience and interests. Current brands and projects include a dating app, car insurance, a beauty brand, baby products and an organic food supermarket. More than one of these clients is from the US so there may be an opportunity to travel next year too!

You will work with Influencers and across the entire range of social media including social media strategy, paid and organic, content creation as well as experiential.
